During Snickari Summer Chefs Weeks, we’re proud to welcome three of Finland’s top culinary talents: Niko Lehto, founder of the Michelin-starred restaurant Vår; Kim Mustonen, Head Chef at Havu Kitchen & Bar — voted the best restaurant in North Savo; and Johan Kurkela, currently preparing for Finland’s upcoming Bocuse d’Or selection competition.
Each guest chef will present their own multi-course signature menu, beginning with a carefully crafted amuse-bouche. The experience is elevated with an expertly curated wine pairing to complement each course.

Snickari – the history
Restaurant Snickari got its name from a late 19th-century corner-style building, which the people of Naantali soon started calling the entire building Snickari’s house. The word “snickari” comes from the Swedish word “snickare,” which means carpenter.
